2023 Scholar
Tate Erickson was entering his final semester as a Colorado State University undergraduate student when selected as a PPF Scholar. While a student, he double-majored in Horticulture – specifically Environmental Horticulture: Nursery and Landscape Management and Horticulture: Controlled Environments. He grew up gardening with his mom and grandfather and started a lawn care business while young, eventually getting hired at a local greenhouse. While at CSU, he has worked The Trial Gardens and coordinated the Annual Trial since 2022.
Once he graduates, his goals are to intern for some botanic gardens, work in production, and try anything else he can along the way.
