2023 Scholar
Samantha Hardeman was a grower at Cavano’s Perennials in Kingsville, MD, having worked there for three years when selected as a PPF Scholar. Her high school provided a background in plant sciences, helping shape a career for her, now and in the future. She received a state award in nursery landscape career (CDE) during her time in FFA, supporting her journey into the plant industry. She is also very active in the horse industry, owning a horse of her own, putting in the long days and hard work required to maintain stalls and train horses.
