2025 PPF Scholar
Philipp Spurtzem is a horticulture student at Hochschule Geisenheim University in Germany. He is inspired by the diversity and complexity of the green industry. He has hands-on experience in perennial production, breeding, marketing, personnel development, and insurance for horticulture, giving him a broad and dynamic understanding of the profession. His horticulture journey began with a traineeship at the monastery nursery Maria Leach and deepened through a practical semester at Intrinsic Perennial Gardens. Philipp is passionate about connecting people and plants to shape the future of our industry.
