2023 Scholar
Michael Entwistle was a senior studying horticulture at North Carolina State University when selected as a PPF Scholar. As a kid, he remembers running outside and smelling the Hyacinthus orientalis every spring as they emerged. Michael worked as a Teaching Assistant for Ornamental Plant Identification while at North Carolina State University. He is planning to intern at his second public garden this summer and has future goals of working in public gardening after graduation. He always remembers to stop and smell the hyacinths every chance he gets!
