Max McKeown graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2021 with a degree in Horticulture, Landscape and Turf Science. During his 4 years at Arkansas, he worked in the Horticulture Teaching Gardens. In 2021, he began his master’s thesis which focused on ornamental groundcovers. Evaluating Form and Function of Groundcovers and their Environmental Impacts in Louisiana Landscapes is published in the journal Land from MDPI. He graduated in May 2023 and is Horticulture Manager at the Huntsville Botanical Garden.
